Cartoons can be a source of inspiration too.

AAA State of Play put together an infographic with 50 quotes from beloved cartoon characters, and some of them are better than they have any right to be.

The one I keep coming back to is this:

I can’t go back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.

Alice says it, and like many simple lines, it works because it is not trying too hard.

It is also a useful reminder for the web, projects, people, old posts and almost everything else: sometimes you do not go back because the place changed, sometimes because you did.
